My 50 Favorite Movies

I just signed up for Netflix. They make you rate movies so they can get an idea of what movies you're interested in so they can make recommendations for what you should rent from them. Well, after rating movies on there, I came up with a list of my top fifty favorite movies of all time. This is strictly based on my tastes, ignoring critics and popular opinion entirely. The Godfather is not on this list. I'm not Roger Ebert. I also took into account movies I liked as a kid, like Home Alone 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And admittedly, even though this is an "all-time list", movies I've seen recently may be higher now than they would be a year or so from now. Who knows.
