Lollapalooza seldom disappoints. Starting early Friday afternoon with The Go Team! all the way up to Sunday night’s Kanye West finale, and everything in between. The fest continues to deliver a bang for it’s three-day $190 early-bird buck. OK, a little pricey. But Radiohead had a 30-minute firework show during their set. Wilco played an hour and a half set in matching homemade suits. Gnarls Barkley and Lupe Fiasco played with live bands. The National's set list could have easily been a playlist of my favorite songs by them. I skipped Rage Against the Machine and Nine Inch Nails sets because there were better acts to see. They do a lot of things right.
The big winner of the fest: hammock haven. A small part of the park dedicated solely to resting in hammocks.
